We present a redesign of step chords that removes the current limitation of the UI / REC mode, which has no ability to stack notes within the chord on the octave i.e. C1, C2, C3 are not possible to combine on the current Step.
A work around of course is to have other track(s) fill in the octave notes, but this hampers the workflow fluency (especially when recording). Addressing this limitation is what Chord V2 is all about.
Hello, where is the latest Nemo OS v5 with Chord V2 saved for downloading?
Than you
radar
ps i found it http://genoqs.net/downloads/
Is that always the latest version?
Hi Radar,
That is the latest version. There is work in-progress on GitHub but the list of bugs and TODO’s is still too long for us to share the new features and support it.
OK thank you for that.
Yeah I have a look at the bug spread sheet from time to time. Great to see you guys are still in development and support of our beloved Nemo.
Fired up Nemo yesterday and I just want to say wow..
Totally neglected this extraordinary sequencer... and then with in minutes I've created some organic poly rhythmic groove with only a waldorf blofeld.. 😂
Must say I've forgotten the work flow do limited regular use, and you know what it's morn in intuitive than say maschine or a arturia beatstep pro.. instant gratification.
now here's one questions as I don't think I ever realised this..
each row on the page more can play an independent set of say 4 x 16 step track..
so so a short sequence I could have 16 tracks of midi.. wow.. I don't know how I missed this..
obviously the 2x doubles this and then say 16 x 64 step tracks are available, with then the rest of the page mode rows giving another multiple of 16...
after owning the Nemo for ten years.. I feel the penny has just dropped..
Thanks for all the support and development.. to be honest looking at the modular dawless world we live in now a days.. I think Genoqs would make a killing if this just was released today..
I'm starting (yet another) YouTube synth tech channel and I plan to review all my aging synths and gear as if they just came out.. 😂.. Nemo hopefully will be a true star!
cheers team!
