That is not a bug, you have set a Step Event on the step(s) - hence the led is yellow.

You will see that when you are zoomed into the step the attribute GRV led is flashing signifying a GRV Step Event - click it once  to turn off the designation of Step Event (& the led will be solid yellow).

I created a phrase with 16th note triplets in the phrase editor then pasted that step onto alternate steps and it worked as expected but the steps illuminated yellow and I couldn't toggle the LED off despite being able to toggle the sound.
